Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create an account?

You can start using Steamline right away without creating an account. When you’re ready, you can sign in with Google or Apple to back up your data and sync across devices. The app will prompt you at the right time.

How do I scan items into my inventory?

Navigate to the Pantry tab and tap the Quick Sync button to open the capture screen. From there you can use your camera, voice, or both to add items to your inventory.

How do I sign in to a different account?

Steamline supports Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google. You can manage your sign-in from the Settings tab in the app.

Do I need to scan my pantry every day?

No. Steamline is designed to learn over time. You can update items whenever it’s convenient using camera, voice, or manual entry.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from within the app under Settings > Account > Delete Account.

Deleting your account permanently removes your account information and associated data from Steamline.

If you cannot access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing support@steamline.app.

Is my data secure?

Your data is protected using industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure storage, and access controls. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

How do I manage notifications?

Go to Settings > Notifications within the app to customize which notifications you receive.

Steamline may use your device’s camera and microphone to help identify pantry items and assist with inventory updates. You control when these features are used.
